This is a postcard from 1915, another goodie I found in the George Eastman House archives. I believe that "Zut pour les zeppelins!" means "Damn those zeppelins!" or something like that. It definitely looks like the zeppelins are getting damned in the background, but the couple canoodling in the foreground doesn't fit. They are obviously way too relaxed to be in the middle of WWI. All is fair in love and war I guess...or whatever.
