Just saw this on FecalFace, Bryan Schnelle's work with ski masks that, as he says, are a "sarcastic acceptance of the fear, hopelessness, and emptiness of daily life in our rapidly crumbling society." Firstly, I really like this stuff. An example:

Secondly, it reminded me of something I had done quickly and sloppily based on extremely similar ideas, though not nearly as well thought out. Example:




I never know whether I should explore/return to a topic when I see similar work, or abandon an idea completely. Hmmm.
